Sumayya provides freelance editing \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eservices, mentors writers, and runs Qissa, an online writer's membership community. Her \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eliterary work explores themes of culinary displacement, nostalgia, and how colonisation and \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethe Partition of India contributed to the erasure of belonging and cultural identity.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDonal McLaughlin\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eis known for two short story collections:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ean allergic reaction to national anthems\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e(Argyll) and \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ebeheading the virgin mary\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e(Dalkey Archive).
